The game has officially changed, and Chevy is leading the way. Chevrolet unveiled the 2024 Silverado EV this month, taking the popular pickup into a bold new era. This fully electric pickup truck boasts the power and capability that have made the Silverado a household name — all while offering zero emissions and incredible range.

The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV will start off with two trim levels: WT and RST. The WT model boasts 510 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque, making it more powerful than any Silverado 1500 available today.

The Silverado EV RST kicks things up a notch with up to 664 horsepower and over 780 lb-ft of torque thanks to Wide Open Watts Mode.[1] This empowers the RST to rocket from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds, which means it’s the quickest Silverado ever made.

And all that power can of course be used to get tough jobs done. The Silverado EV RST is estimated to deliver up to 10,000 pounds of max towing capacity.[2] Chevy estimates that a 2025 model-year version of the WT will double that with up to 20,000 pounds of towing power.[3]

In addition to delivering plenty of power, the Silverado EV will free you from frequent fill-ups at the pump. General Motors expects this groundbreaking truck to deliver up to 400 miles of range when fully charged.[4] And when it’s time to recharge, the Silverado EV offers standard DC fast-charging capabilities that can allow you to recover a GM-estimated 100 miles of range in just 10 minutes.

If you’re ready to go boldly into a better tomorrow, you can reserve your 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV now. Got questions or want to know more about the upcoming 2022 Silverado 1500? Contact the experts at Dave Kehl Chevrolet in Mechanicsburg, Ohio.
